ashes to ashes

Today, while browsing, I came across a young Chinese artist from Shanghai named Yang Yongliang. I have to say, his work is pretty impressive. His latest installment is a collection of finely placed and cut black and white photographs of cityscapes and skylines, in collage form, to create what looks like piling cigarette ash. The whole piece looks sort of pixelated and 3D. The final product came out looking pretty cool. Here's some links about Yang Yongliang:

If you never took the time to discover more about your astrological sign, you should. What you may find can be very enthralling and reveal traits about your personality you might not have considered before. Some people don't believe in these kind of discoveries, and that's OK, however I just think they're interesting for fun too.

I'm a Taurus - birthday May 20th. The Taurus is an earth sign and we are known for our stubbornness and determination ;). Generally, Taureans are compatible with other earth signs, as well as some water signs (Cancer, Pisces)
Here are some more facts about Taureans:

Strengths - Consistency, Determination, Fidelity
Weaknesses - Unwillingness to change, Stubborness, Obstinacy
Planet - Venus
Metal - Copper
Cross - Fixed
Element - Earth
Crystals - Sapphire, Emerald, Lapis Lazuli, Blue Topaz, Malachite, Turquoise, Jade
Flowers & Herbs - Lilies, Forget-Me-Nots, Moss, Daisies, Violets, Wild Roses
Tree - Almond, Ash, Cherry, & Myrtle
Color - Blue, Green, Red, Yellow
Body Area - Throat, Neck
Number - 6
Day of the Week - Friday
Season - Spring

Another way to find out more about your astrological sign is to fill out a natal chart. You'll need some information though, such as where and what time you were born. A natal chart allows people to discover a more in-depth analysis of their sign and what other signs are affected by it.

I like to check my horoscope at the end of the day, so I don't go into the day 'thinking' that's what will happen. Check it often, you might be surprised.

Whether the weather is depends on whether

So, where I live, a suburb outside Manhattan, it's kind of in that 'in between' weather. Like, it cannot make up its mind. About two weeks ago it was about 70F, and now the norm is around 40F. Deciding what to wear is tough, especially when the temperature dips down when the sun sets. However, I am really happy that the days are finally longer and the sun doesn't set until around 7ish.

Anyways, below are some styles that I like for both men and women, if you too are having trouble with deciding what to wear during this time, maybe this will provide some inspiration :)

Really like acid washed jeans like these, I have some from H&M, but it seems like they're coming back in style, so you might be able to find them anywhere.

Really adore the style of this jacket, almost looks Pollock-inspired

This bag is cute, can double as a backpack
